Welcome to The George Inn, Vernham Dean, a beautiful old-fashioned village pub dating back to the seventeenth century with historic fireplaces, oak beams, open fires and a large beer garden, in the heart of the Test Valley. The surrounding areas boast some wonderful walking and cycle routes, as well as an abundance of traditional country pursuits; and what better after a morning or day in the fresh air than a hearty pub lunch or dinner.

All our meals have a seasonal focus and are created using the best locally sourced ingredients, including meat and vegetables from in and around Andover and seafood from Brixham. We are particularly well known for our fish and chips with homemade beer batter and our Sunday roasts with all the trimmings.
