The George Beer Festival returns!

Join us over Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th August for one of our favourite weekends of the year.

Across two days, we’ll have an incredible line-up of live music from some of the area’s best local artists, creating the perfect soundtrack to a summer weekend in the pub garden.

At the heart of the festival is our beer tent, pouring 12 carefully selected real ales from local breweries and further afield, alongside five delicious ciders to explore. Whether you’re a seasoned ale drinker or just looking to discover something new, there’ll be plenty to enjoy.

Feeling hungry? We’ll be serving BBQ favourites from the kitchen throughout the weekend, while our popular wood-fired pizza van will also be firing on all cylinders.

We’re also delighted to welcome back Kicking Goat Cider, who’ll once again be bringing their iconic Land Rover bar to The George, serving their fantastic range of craft ciders.

With great food, exceptional beer, live music and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s the perfect way to spend the Bank Holiday weekend with family and friends.
