The George Open

We're launching what we hope will become a new George tradition.

Join us for The George Open, a friendly backgammon knockout tournament at The George Inn. Whether you're a seasoned player or simply fancy your chances, pull up a chair and battle it out for prizes, bragging rights and a place in George Inn history.

The tournament will follow a knockout format, with players progressing through each round until one champion remains. If you have a backgammon board, please bring it along if you're able.

Alongside the competition we'll have guest beers on tap, food from our brand-new summer menu, and a lively pub atmosphere throughout the evening.

Come for the backgammon, stay for the food, drinks and good company.
